The Veterans Procurement Policy advocates for a number and value of Commonwealth contracts to be awarded to Veteran businesses. Commonwealth portfolios’ performance against targets are published each financial year.

How would targets work?

Annual targets for the number and value of contracts awarded to Veteran businesses would be applied to the Commonwealth as a whole and to each Commonwealth portfolio.

Targets should be based on a three-year average of contracts that each portfolio awarded in previous years.
